How to use

  1. The User-Agent tab splits a UA into browser, version, engine, platform and device, and calls out crawlers separately.
  2. Matching runs from specific brands to broad ones: Edge, Opera and Samsung Internet all contain Chrome/, and Chrome contains Safari/. The reverse order misidentifies the brand without failing.
  3. The status tab lists codes with registered phrases plus a few widely used but unregistered ones (419 / 444 / 499 / 520-527). Unregistered phrases stay blank rather than invented.
  4. The MIME tab accepts a type, an extension, or a pasted filename, and keeps only common types instead of the whole IANA registry.
  5. The Content-Type tab decides whether charset belongs: textual without it turns non-ASCII into mojibake, binary with it is usually a copied-template leftover.
  6. A UA is a string the client sends and anyone can change it; treat these results as clues, never as authorisation.
