How to use
- Pick a seed, choose fields, export JSON / CSV / SQL / TypeScript. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
- The core discipline: one seed must produce one dataset. Using Math.random() is the most common way this kind of tool becomes useless — the whole table changes on refresh, the ids you copied into your code no longer match, and a fixture that differs on every run cannot carry an assertion. Randomness is here to look realistic, not to differ every time.
- Every row is internally consistent: name, email, company and address all belong to the same person. Independent sampling produces combinations like “Emily Smith / Marcus Johnson / emily.smith@northwind.io / Chaoyang, Beijing” that read as fake at a glance.
- Every value sits in an obviously fake range: example domains for email, reserved blocks for phone numbers, sequential street numbers, IPv4 pinned to the 192.168 private range. It cannot collide with a real person's details.
- No type rewriting on export: amounts stay numeric in CSV instead of silently becoming strings, which would turn a sum into string concatenation.
- Row and field counts are capped. Asking for 100,000 rows should not freeze the page; you get a clearly trimmed result that tells you what it kept.
