How to use

  1. Fill the left side and the right side updates live with the <head> snippet, a search-result preview and a share card. Everything is computed locally; nothing is uploaded.
  2. Truncation is estimated by pixel width, not character count. The SERP title area is about 600px and the description area about 960px; a CJK character is roughly 16px and a Latin letter roughly 8px. So “60 characters” means very different things in the two scripts — the most common mistake in tools like this.
  3. These thresholds are empirical, not spec. Google has never published a character limit for title or description; its own font and layout decide truncation, and they change.
  4. Twitter cards do not read og:* tags — they need their own twitter:title / description / image. This tool emits those three lines separately because missing them is the usual failure.
  5. max-image-preview:large is a permissive directive and belongs in the defaults; max-image-preview:none is only written when you switch large previews off. Treating a permissive directive as an opt-in checkbox makes people think the default has no large image.
  6. A 1200×630 (1.91:1) share image is recommended. A square image gets cropped to a strip and only the middle survives. SVG share images are not rendered by most platforms, leaving a blank card.
  7. Warnings come in two levels, fix and suggestion. A site name appearing once (`JSON Format · FreeTools`) is normal and does not warn — a warning that fires on normal input teaches people to ignore every warning.
